Good Friday Service

We hope you’ll join us on Friday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m. The theme is, “Father Forgive Them”.

Good Friday is the darkest day in the record of all mankind. God’s Son, Jesus Christ, who came freely to give of His life, knowing that it would cost Him the very thing that He treasured the presence of the Father, was crucified, dead and buried. The scriptures tell us that He became sin on our behalf. Through various narrations, we will try to grasp hold of the truth that Jesus died not of suffocation (the normal way people died when crucified) but by the weight of our sins and the sins of all mankind placed upon Him.

Through the use of scripture reading, poetry, various reflections, and music we will make every attempt to grasp the significance of Jesus’s profound words, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Come join us.
