On November 17th, during the 9:30 AM service, the Reverend Michael Ferris will use the art of making pottery to share the message that God uses the events in our lives to mold us into who He wants us to be.
Heard any good stories lately? When I was growing up, our local library had ‘Story Hour’, a time when children would gather around and listen to the librarian read from the picture books. Our librarian, Mrs. Barksdale, was a great story teller, and would have a crowd of children gathered around listening with rapt attention. I was listening too, working quietly at the circulation desk, as she made those stories come alive. This memory came back to me as I watched video excerpts of “Journey to the Potter’s House”. On November 17th, during the 9:30 AM service, the Reverend Michael Ferris will use the art of making pottery to share the message that God uses the events in our lives to mold us into who He wants us to be. This will be a very uplifting day for all, especially for those who are facing challenges in their lives.
After the 90-minute service, there will be a meet and greet with Pastor Ferris, and he will have some of his pottery available for purchase.
